What we often think is fat
loss is actually weight loss from water weight or metabolically active
muscle tissue.
This is a very common effect experienced by those who engage in fad or
crash dieting, and actually makes losing body fat even more difficult!
The measurement we need to focus on for fat loss is our relative body fat percentage
as this is the true measure of how lean or fat we really are.
To estimate your body fat
percentage* quickly and easily:
1. Select "Man" or "Woman"
2. Select units (Centimeters or Inches)
3. Enter your height (measure without shoes)
4. Enter your waist size (for men at navel height, for women at the smallest point)
5. Women only, enter your hips size (measure at your hips' largest point)
6. Enter your neck size (taken below the larynx sloping slightly downward at the front)
(Be as accurate as
possible with your measurements for the most accurate
results)
