  1. i bought these for my husband. they work about as well as most mid-range vitamins. i can’t really say anything too positive or too negative about them.

The product was received on time; packing in good shape…my whole family uses Rainbow Light in different flavors…excellent food based multi-vitamins.

  3. I was looking to try some new vitamins because I hadn’t taken any supplements in years. I looked through Amazon and thought this was the best one (based off of the ingredients and the ramblings of how good this vitamin was by the reviewers of this product). After taking it for two days, there’s no doubt in my mind that this vitamin isn’t having much effect in my body. I drink A LOT of water in a day and consider myself as healthy. Because I drink a lot of water, when I urinate, my urine is literally clear (if it’s every yellow, it’s a very light shade of yellow). On the second day of me taking this, I went to the bathroom and almost had a heart attack. My urine was coming out of me as a neon yellow and when I looked in the toilet, I honestly thought it looked like Gatorade. This tells me one thing: my body isn’t absorbing the vitamins and minerals. I stopped taking the vitamins and have decided to just look for foods that are high in the vitamins and minerals essential to the body and consume them like that.

Sorry for talking about my urine, but I thought it was the best way to illustrate the effects the vitamin was having.

It’s been years since I last took a multivitamin and thought maybe I should try to be a little healthier now that I am in my mid-30′s. I had not seen a complete list of what this particular vitamin contains prior to purchase or I might have stayed away regardless of the glowing reviews and superior rating. I have sensitivities to B-complex, niacin and a few other substances. The niacin gives me a flush and the B-complex gives me dizzy spells where everything spins in front of me. After 12 years, it would seem that I am still relatively as sensitive as when I last took multivitamins and/or supplements containing these substances. The side effects do where off, but it is a lot to put up with, plus it seems the is the first multivitamin to give me diarrhea all the time. So off the vitamin I go and am on a search for something a little more friendly to my needs. It took a while for a lot of the symptoms to surface, so at first I didn’t realize what was wrong until I temporarily broke my routine for a dental visit/recovery. As soon as I resumed the multivitamin, the same symptoms resumed again. On a side note, I also did not think the smell of these pills was particularly pleasant although it was tolerable. This review is not to say everyone will have the same issues that I did, but rather to give a heads up that men with various sensitivities may find this is not the right one for them.

  5. I took these throughout my pregnancy. They are just great. I never had morning sickness from them. They gave me peace of mind with just one tablet a day. And I really liked that they were vegan, organic, natural and holistically inclined. I will be taking them for postpartum and breastfeeding as well as my concentrated fish oil supplements.
